Prof. Kraft Publishes Chapter in New Book on the Federal Role in Education

Brown University Associate Professor of Education Matthew Kraft has published a chapter, "Federal Efforts to Improve Teacher Equality," in Bush-Obama School Reform: Lessons Learned, edited by Frederick Hess and Michael McShane, in which a diverse group of scholars examined the shifting federal role in education across the presidential administrations of George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

Professor Kraft has been named one of the country's top 200 influential scholars. This semester, he is teaching EDUC 2320, Quantitative Research Methods & Data Analysis; in the spring he will teach EDUC 1110, Introductory Statistics for Education Research & Policy Analysis.
