Have an idea or story that you want to turn into pictures? Looking to tap into your creative side? Or simply want to draw? Drop by the Visual Storytelling workshops! This summer, we’ll get started in drawing, learn to use colors for impact, try to figure out how appealing stories work, design characters and worlds, and make images that tell stories. We’ll look at examples from animation, film, science, comics, illustration, and more! No prior background or skills necessary; students, faculty, and staff welcome. Space is limited but preference will be given to those looking to apply visual storytelling to nature and science. Wednesdays, 5:00 pm at the Science Center. See brownvisualstorytelling.tumblr.com for weekly topics, exercises, and resources.
