After an exceptional first year, Brown Innovation for Health is very excited to host its second healthcare hackathon. “Hackathon” combines the words “hack” and “marathon.” In this case, “hack” means to create innovative solutions to current health problems. Brown Hack Health will take place over the course of a weekend (September 15th - 17th) and bring together diverse groups of people — students, entrepreneurs, providers, IT developers, industrial designers, venture capitalists — who work in teams to prototype solutions to current issues in health care. The weekend includes a keynote address delivered by Rajiv Kumar, Brown alum ’05, MD’11 and current CMO of Virgin Pulse and President of Virgin Pulse Institute.
