Brown Innovation for Health is very excited to host its third healthcare hackathon. “Hackathon” combines the words “hack” and “marathon.” In this case, “hack” means to create innovative solutions to current health problems. Brown Hack Health will take place over the course of a weekend (September 14th - 16th) and bring together diverse groups of people — students, entrepreneurs, providers, IT developers, industrial designers, venture capitalists — who work in teams to prototype solutions to current issues in health care. The weekend includes a keynote address delivered by Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and founder of NaloxBox, Dr. Geoff Capraro.
