Preparing for an interview has key themes including doing research, presenting your new masters story, expecting the tough questions, and practicing. Now there is an added element of the Zoom interview. Join us for a discussion about what is the same and what is changing when it comes to successful interviewing. There will be time for questions.

Please join us on Wednesday, September 30th for a presentation by Intus Care: “Machine Learning, Social Determinants, and Electronic Health Record Data to Reduce Preventable Long Term Care Utilization.” This presentation will outline our methodology in applying machine learning algorithms to the electronic health records of patients on a managed Medicare-Medicaid health plan. We used our algorithms to risk score participants and predict costs associated with potentially preventable hospitalizations (PPHs).

Churchill Scholarship - Campus Deadline

Are you an excellent an outstanding student of mathematics, engineering, and/or science who intends to pursue a career in Research Science? Are you a senior interested in spending a year in England after graduation? The prestigious Churchill Scholarship supports one year of graduate work at the University of Cambridge. The award provides payment of all university and college tuition and fees at Cambridge, a maintenance allowance of between $14,000 - $19,000 and up to a $1,500 travel allowance. Brown is among a small cohort of schools invited to nominate two students each year.
