Examples of academic accomplishments can include published or unpublished papers, essays, research posters, presentations, readings, performances, or other works demonstrating superior accomplishment.
Nomination process and requirements:
Brown University faculty members may make nominations for this award. Students in terminal master’s degree programs or executive master’s programs and doctoral students enrolled in a secondary master’s program through the Open Graduate Education program are eligible for nomination.
A nomination letter is required, and should include evidence of superior achievement in thesis, projects, or research. Nomination letters should provide detail about how the student’s academic product/project exceeds the quality of excellent work typically expected in the program. The letter should also provide evidence of how the product/project distinguishes or prepares the student for a life of usefulness and reputation. Please furnish a digital copy of the student’s academic product/project, where feasible.
