The Office of Institutional Research surveys various constituencies within the University community, including graduate students.
Student climate surveys are conducted for doctoral, MFA and other master's students. Beginning in 2013, the surveys are conducted on an annual basis.
Doctoral students complete the PhD Exit Survey upon completion of degree requirements or separation from the University. See Dissertation Guidelines.
Master's students are asked to complete the First Destination Survey. This survey, first launched in 2017, is sent in early May to master's students who have applied to graduate; the survey closes in the summertime. (Doctoral students earning a transitional master's degree while advancing in their doctoral studies should not participate in the first destination survey.)
Graduate alumni survey results also can be found on OIR's site.
