Yu-Hang Tang won the Best Poster Award at the annual ICMMES Conference in Hamburg, Germany. The doctoral student in Applied Math received an international travel grant from the Graduate School to attend the conference, which focuses on mesoscopic methods in engineering and science. Tang’s dissertation research focuses on a method of mesoscopic modeling called Dissipative Particle Dynamics (DPD). Learn more about his research and see Tang's poster.
