Research Summary: Luiz Paulo is interested in the intersection of Indigenous and environmental history in Brazil from a national and transnational perspective. His project analyzes the rise of Brazil's Indigenous movement and environmental consciousness during the military dictatorship (1964-1985).
He also co-founded the public history project "História ao Ar Livre" and the NGO SomosProfessores.org.
