Joe Terantino is the Director of the Language Resource Center at Brown University. He received his Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition & Instructional Technology from the University of South Florida in 2009. Before coming to Brown in 2016, Joe directed the Foreign Language Resource Center at Kennesaw State University, where he served as an associate professor of foreign language education and Spanish. In addition to designing and teaching a variety of foreign language education and Spanish courses, including “Technology for the 21st Century Language Teacher”, he also served as coordinator of online language learning at KSU.

Joe specializes in computer-assisted language learning, online learning, second language acquisition, and teaching methodology. He is a passionate user and researcher of instructional technology, and enjoys the challenge of tinkering with new tools.
