Emmanuel von Schack will share his experience as the Access Coordinator of the 9/11 Memorial Museum in New York City to discuss about how to make museums more accessible and inclusive for Deaf and hard of hearing people.
Emmanuel von Schack is the Access Coordinator at the 9/11 Memorial Museum in New York City. During 2016, he was the recipient of the Leadership Exchange in Arts and Disabilities (LEAD) Award for Emerging Leaders for his work in promoting accessibility and inclusion in cultural institutions. Emmanuel von Schack has a bachelor’s degree in history and European studies from New York University and a master’s degree in art history from Hunter College, CUNY. He has presented globally on topics related to accessibility and inclusion.
