Jack P. Greene, Andrew W. Mellon Professor Emeritus in the Humanities, Johns Hopkins University, will discuss his new book, Evaluating Empire and Confronting Colonialism in Eighteenth-Century Britain (Cambridge University Press, 2013), with discussion moderated by Eliga Gould, Professor of History, University of New Hampshire. Reception and book signing to follow.

Presented in conjunction with 1763 and the Americas, a public symposium in Boston (Faneuil Hall) and Providence (JCB), June 7-8 (see more information here), organized by the 1763 Peace of Paris Commemoration and co-hosted by the JCB.
