Many Ways to Support the JCB!
The Library is able to fulfill its mission each year through support from foundations, government agencies, and gifts from the Library’s Association of Friends and Fellows, a group with roughly 500 members from almost all 50 states and many foreign countries. The assistance of the Associates and friends of the Library is particularly vital since a significant portion of our acquisitions budget is funded by these contributions.
Supporting the John Carter Brown Library ensures its world-class collection on the early Americas continues to grow and be made available to researchers form around the world. The Library's holdings include rare books, manuscripts, maps, and supporting materials from the early decades of European print to the first half of the nineteenth century. Your gift makes the Library's public events, exhibits, residential research fellowships, open-access policy, and digitization program possible. Thank you for your generous support.
