American Oecologies: A Roundtable on Environmental History

American Oecologies: A Roundtable on Environmental History is part of "Early Oceanic Histories," a new initiative in environmental studies at the John Carter Brown Library. The roundtable was introduced by Neil Safier, Director and Librarian of the JCB, and featured Jeffrey Bolster, Professor of History at the University of New Hampshire; Joyce Chaplin, the James Duncan Phillips Professor of Early American History at Harvard University; Loren McClenachan, Elizabeth and Lee Ainslie Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at Colby College; Marcy Norton, Associate Professor of History at George Washington University; Christopher Parsons, Assistant Professor of History at Northeastern University; Cameron Strang, Postdoctoral Fellow at The Smithsonian Institute; and Molly Warsh, Assistant Professor of History at the University of Pittsburgh.
