Andrew Colarusso

Andrew E. Colarusso received a BA in comparative literature from New York University and a MFA (poetry) from Brown University. He was editor-in-chief of The Broome Street Review (2009-2017), an independently published literary journal. His debut novel, The Sovereign (Dalkey Archive, 2017), interrogates the political relationship between Puerto Rico and the United States. Proceeds from the novel will go to ISER Caribe, a non-profit organization bringing water filtration systems to parts of Puerto Rico most affected by Hurricane María.
