Charles Bernstein

Charles Bernstein is the winner of the 2019 Bollingen Prize for American Poetry. He is the author of Near/Miss (University of Chicago, 2018), Pitch of Poetry (Chicago, 2016) Recalculating (Chicago, 2013), and Attack of the Difficult Poems: Essays and Inventions (Chicago, 2011).  In 2020, ROOF Books will publish The Course, a collaboration with Ted Greenwald, and the University of New Mexico Press will publish a reprint of L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E magazine as well as the late 1970s collaborative poem Legend. He lives in Brooklyn.
