Ian Hatcher is a writer, sound artist, performer, and programmer whose work explores cognition in the context of digital systems. Recent output includes a print poetry collection, Prosthesis; a vinyl 7", Drone Pilot; an iOS app, Abra (co-created with Amaranth Borsuk and Kate Durbin); and a play, Remote Viewer (co-written and directed with Tyler Coburn). His code-inflected live vocal performances have been presented widely in North America and Europe. He received his MFA in Digital Language Arts from Brown University and lives in New York.
