Rick  Moody

Rick Moody is the author of the novels DemonologyPurple AmericaThe Ring of Brightest Angels Around HeavenThe Ice StormThe Black Veil, and Garden State, which won the Pushcart Prize Editors’ Book Award.  Also an art critic, he has contributed to several contemporary art and photography books, including Roy Lichtenstein: Times Square MuralTwilight: Photographs by Gregory CrewdsonFred Tomaselli: Ten Year Survey, and Hover: Artist Monographs with Fiction. Recipient of the Addison Metcalf Award and of a Guggenheim Fellowship, he is a graduate of Brown University and has taught writing at New York University and Yale.

He is currently Bonderman Professor of the Practice in Literary Arts at Brown University.
