Tenure-Track Faculty Member with primary research emphasis in Clinical Informatics. Areas of expertise that are of interest include: clinical documentation, clinical decision support, workflow analysis and process redesign, data mining, natural language processing, and standards and interoperability. This is a unique opportunity to be part of shaping the vision and long-term impact of a new biomedical informatics program at an institution with academic, hospital, and government partnerships that span basic research, health care, and public health. Competitive applicants will have a doctoral degree or post-doctoral training in biomedical informatics or related discipline. A competitive startup package will be provided, with the expectation that a majority of the faculty’s research program will be supported through extramural funds within three years.
