Division of Disaster Medicine and Emergency Preparedness

Disaster Medicine and Emergency Preparedness is a division of the Department of Emergency Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Disaster Medicine and Emergency Preparedness was established in 2012 as a program and became a division in 2015.  The main activities within the Division of Disaster Medicine and Emergency Preparedness is to provide education and training to undergraduate, graduate, medical students and post graduate learners, to conduct research in relevant topics and to provide expert advise.

The Brown Advanced Emergency Medicine Academies Fellowship training program in Disaster Medicine and Emergency Preparedness is a major educational program of the Division.
