PEM Faculty and the team at The Simulation Center conduct simulated medical cases on high-fidelity manikins and employ trained actors, allowing Fellows to review medical and surgical resuscitation, build team and leadership skills, practice emergency procedures, and experience crisis management with families.

Fellows have opportunity to conduct portable simulation cases with Emergency Medicine and Pediatric residents on site at the hospital campus.

Fellows may elect to do a one-month simulation elective, which includes running and supervising simulation cases for trainees and authorship of a simulation case that is submitted for peer-reviewed publication.
