Academic Interests

I focus on improving clinical outcomes and quality of care for patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Specific areas of interest include understanding and managing the hypercoagulable state in IBD, the role of diet and nutrition in IBD, and improving outcomes for patients with IBD in high performance sports activity. I also oversee clinical trials of novel agents for the treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
