Academic Interests:

My clinical interests are in the field of hepatology. My practice involves the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic liver disease, including viral hepatitis, alcoholic liver disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, autoimmune, cholestatic and metabolic liver disorders, as well as liver cancer. I am trained in transplant hepatology and have a special focus in the management of patients with advanced liver disease and complications of portal hypertension, both before and after liver transplantation.                                                          

My current research interests include quality improvement in the inpatient management of patients with advanced liver disease
