Morning Report

Interesting and core cases will be presented by the residents serving on the wards and also night float with guidance and input from attending physicians and faculty. 
 

Noon Teaching Conference

The centerpiece of our didactic program, faculty present interactive, case-based subspecialty lectures. A wide array of subjects are covered including case presentations by residents, cardiology review, radiology grand rounds and didactic lectures by attendings on board tested areas.

Medical Grand Rounds

Sponsored by the Department of Medicine, invited faculty speak about clinical problems in medicine, new research, and evidence-based therapies monthly.

Journal Club

Residents learn how to critically review and appraise published medical literature and apply evidence-based medicine to patient care.







Skills-Based Workshops

Residents participate in skills-based workshops such as ultrasound, airway management, interosseous line management, women’s health exams, men’s health exams, and musculoskeletal exams.

 

Board Review

Residents attend Board Review sessions throughout the year to prepare them for the ABIM exam after graduation.
