Led by Residents and Chiefs with faculty participation, residents present interesting and compelling inpatient cases. Morning Reports include intern, cardiology, ICU, ACLS, EKG, M&M, and Jeopardy.
The centerpiece of our didactic program, Alpert Medical School of Brown University and guest faculty present interactive, case-based subspecialty lectures.
Medical Grand Rounds
Sponsored by the Department of Medicine, invited faculty speak about clinical problems in medicine, new research, and evidence-based therapies monthly.
Residents learn how to critically review and appraise published medical literature and apply evidence-based medicine to patient care.
These mini outpatient conferences in the clinic, sandwiched between the group huddle and patient care, focus on issues and disease presentations commonly seen in the outpatient setting.
Residents participate in skills-based workshops such as ultrasound, airway management, interosseous line management, women’s health exams, men’s health exams, and musculoskeletal exams.
Residents attend Board Review sessions throughout the year to prepare them for the ABIM exam after graduation.
