Why did you choose WIH/Brown OB/GYN?

As someone undecided about my ultimate career plans, I loved that the program's emphasis on preparing you for whatever it is that you want to do post-residency, whether or not that means pursuing a fellowship. I was also interested in the idea of training at a standalone women's hospital. Above all, however, it was the people. The residents were all incredibly warm, cohesive, and supportive of one another. Everyone seemed genuinely happy, and that helped make it really easy to envision myself happy here for the next 4 years.

What are your interests within OB/GYN?

General ob/gyn, family planning, REI. I am also passionate about medical education and working with underserved populations

What is your favorite thing to do in Providence or Rhode Island?

I love spending time outdoors, whether its biking down the East Bay Bike Path, taking advantage of the free yoga in India Point Park/Prospect Terrace Park, kayaking, or going to beach.

 Where do you live?

Downtown at The Promenade, which is a loft-style building converted from some historic mills (loving my exposed brick!)

 One fun fact about you:

I have a dog named Forrest -- we're Forrest and Jenny, after one of my favorite movies of all time, Forrest Gump

One piece of advice for candidates:

Interviews can be really stressful, but try to make the most of interview season by exploring all the new cities you're visiting, taking the opportunity to reconnect with old friends living in those places, and getting to know your potential future co-interns!
