The Department of Surgery includes General Surgery; Surgical Oncology, Hepatobiliary, Bariatric, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Endocrine, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, ENT/Head and Neck Surgery, Ophthalmology, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Surgical Research, Transplant, Trauma/Critical Care, Urology, and Vascular Surgery. The goal of the Department is to foster an environment for the optimal education of residents and medical students and to prepare them to assume their roles in scientific and medical communities.
