Division of Colorectal Surgery

The Colorectal Care Center at Rhode Island Hospital was instituted to promote research, education, and excellence in patient care.  The members of the Division of Colorectal Surgery provide special expertise in all aspects of evaluation and management of anorectal and colonic diseases.  In addition to clinical activities, they are also active in both clinical and laboratory based research.  The academic mission of the division includes teaching responsibilities for medical students and surgical residents from Brown University as well as national and international medical schools.
