All of our board-certified anesthesiologists have extensive training in managing acute pain in the perioperative setting. In conjunction with the surgical care team, we employ the most recent and evidence based approaches to multimodal analgesia (pain control). By targeting several mechanisms of pain, we are able to provide comfort while minimizing side effects. Approaches employed include intravenous and oral agents, some procedures include peripheral and neuraxial (epidural or spinal injections) nerve blocks to provide comfort.
