To help create and foster a diverse, inclusive and culturally competent learning and training environment for students, faculty and trainees within the Division of Biology and Medicine including The Warren Alpert Medical School, and Program in Biology.
To promote social responsibility, active engagement, and the well being of our communities in the pursuit of health equity.
- To coordinate recruitment efforts of students, faculty and trainees who are underrepresented in medicine*, and biology.
- To provide academic, personal, professional career development and social support to students, faculty and trainees who are underrepresented in medicine, and biology.
- To collaborate with offices and centers across the University to offer culturally competent educational programming and related support to all members of the Division of Biology and Medicine community including The Warren Alpert Medical School and Program in Biology.
