Office of Medical Education

The Office of Medical Education oversees the four-year, competency-based curriculum at AMS. In addition, our office administers the Doctoring program and oversees service-learning and patient advocacy programs.

Our office is also responsible for reviewing courses and faculty evaluations, and for carrying out the initiatives of the Medical Curriculum Committee.  In addition, the Office of Medical Education ensures the continuous improvement and quality of the Alpert Medical School curriculum.

AMS recently hosted the AMA Accelerating Change in Medical Education Spring Consortium Meeting. Please see our media page for Dr. James Madara's keynote address, Med Ed Talks and Controversies in Medical Education Pro/Con Debates.
