Avi Sadeh Memorial Fund
Announcing the Avi Sadeh Memorial International Trainee Travel Fund
In honor of our dear friend, Dr. Avi Sadeh, a memorial fund has been established to support trainees in the field of pediatric sleep and foster international collaboration.
Dr. Sadeh, Professor of Clinical Psychology at Tel Aviv University, was a pioneer in pediatric sleep and actigraphy. Avi was a caring teacher, providing support, advice, and guidance to students, both in Israel and around the globe. His legacy lives on in the many students who have followed in his path or used his influence to forge a path of their own. Avi was also a colleague in the truest sense of the word. He valued collaboration over competition and worked with researchers from around the world. His legacy is that of a gifted teacher and scientist, who will be remembered for everything he contributed to the field of pediatric sleep,as well as for his warm and humble personality, passion for life, and heart of gold.
To honor Dr. Sadeh’s extraordinary dedication to mentorship, the Avi Sadeh Memorial International Trainee Travel Fund has been established to foster trainee education and to encourage international collaboration through supporting attendance by international trainees to the biennial Pediatric Sleep Meeting, sponsored by the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Office of Continuing Medical Education.
Donations can be made online (www.gifts.brown.edu), by check, or by credit card (see attached form for complete information).
