Natalie was born and raised in New York City.  From childhood, Natalie trained as a classical pianist. She studied at the Juilliard School and continued her studies at the New England Conservatory, where she received her bachelor's and master's degrees in piano performance. While she remains passionate about music, she ultimately decided to pursue a career in medicine and attended Tufts University School of Medicine. During medical school, she was involved in research studying the use of optical coherence tomography (OCT) to describe and diagnose diseases of the optic nerve. She also investigated treatment for progressive Multiple Sclerosis at the Partners MS Center. In her free time, she enjoys playing piano and going to concerts, designing and sewing her own clothes, and spending time with her husband and son.
