Medical School adopts tobacco-free campus policy

Alpert Medical School is a tobacco-free campus as of July 6, 2015.

Dean of Medicine and Biological Sciences Jack. A. Elias has announced the immediate implementation of a tobacco-free campus policy for Alpert Medical School. The action extends an existing tobacco-free workplace policy to the area outside of the Medical School building at 222 Richmond Street, Providence. It bans the use of all tobacco products, including cigarettes and e-cigarettes.
