Clinical Psychology Training

The Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior offers comprehensive training in clinical psychology. The predoctoral Clinical Psychology Internship Training Program is one of the most highly regarded programs in the country. The Postdoctoral Fellowship Training Program offers a variety of fellowships within its three divisions: 1) APA-accredited Clinical Psychology Program (CPP) which provides general training in clinical psychology (Traditional Practice Program); 2) APA-accredited Clinical Neuropsychology Specialty Program (CNSP) which provides training in clinical neuropsychology within a hospital-based setting that is consistent with Houston Conference Guidelines; and 3) the Research Fellowship Program (RFP) which provides postdoctoral research training for individuals from various disciplines related to behavioral science.
