In order to comply with Brown’s guidelines on in-person gatherings, this semester Orchestra will be split into two chamber orchestra cohorts (19 students maximum per group, strings and percussion only). Each cohort will have one 80-minute in-person rehearsal per week, and additional repertoire study will take place online. Auditions will be held remotely during the first week of the semester; please prepare a 2-minute selection of your choice and the orchestral excerpt(s) for your instrument (to be distributed in early January). Harpists and percussionists who are interested in participating must contact Mark Seto ([email protected]) by December 11, 2020, so that repertoire can be chosen accordingly.
