Concert: Faculty Voice Recital

Voice faculty members soprano Deborah Selig and tenor Gregory Zavracky together with pianist Tanya Bleich (New England Conservatory) present an hour-long recital of art song, opera, and popular song, featuring the music of classical masters, Schumann, Duparc, Verdi, Dvorak, Strauss and Weill, as well as the popular music of Harry Warren ("I Only Have Eyes for You" 42nd Street). In addition, the trio will premiere selections from a new song cycle by Gregory Zavracky entitled Persons Half Known, featuring the Pulitzer Prize-wining poetry of Carl Sandburg.
