David was a viola/violin teaching associate in our Applied Music Program and a coach of Chamber Music ensembles. David was passionate about his students and his teaching. Often he said that teaching sustained him. In his final days he was visited by many former students whose lives were impacted by his teaching. He was grateful beyond words for everyone’s understanding, kindness, and support. He will be deeply missed by all of us in the Brown community.
