David Rubinstein Memorial Event

This event celebrates the life of our friend and colleague, David Rubinstein, who succumbed to his long battle with cancer at age 57 in June 2019. Event details are still to be determined, but they will be posted here when available. In the meantime, a memorial Facebook page and group have been established to share photos and comments.

Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles whip up an intoxicating blend of blues, soul, R&B, Afrobeat, gospel, and jazz, blurring genres and upending expectations at every turn. Praised by AllMusic as “one of the finest Hammond B-3 organ players of his generation,” Cory Henry won a pair of GRAMMY Awards for his work with the band Snarky Puppy since 2012.

PhD candidate in Music Alexander Dupuis is an animator, composer and performer working with generative video, real-time animation and audio systems in musical contexts. He is also active as a guitarist in the Happy Valley Band and the Verdant Vibes new music collective. Check out some his work at alexanderdupuis.com. Admission is free and open to the public.
