Music Performance Spaces

Music Department ensembles perform at a variety of location on campus. Grant Recital Hall, in the Music Department complex, is perfect for chamber music, electronic music, and smaller jazz combos. Sayles Hall, on the green, is used for concerts by the University orchestra and chorus, and  is used for organ music. The Jazz Band and the Wind Symphony also perform in Salomon Hall on the Green. Spaces at The Granoff Center for the Creative Arts are also used regularly for jazz, chamber music, and electronic and multimedia work.

The newly-renovated Grant Recital Hall opened in January 2007. The refurbished facility, designed and overseen by Brian Healy Architects in Boston, MA, boasts a larger lobby and reception space, a grander entrance, and a more generous green room for performers than our previous hall.
