What was your favorite part about being a student at Brown?

As a Brown student, I am grateful for the opportunity to create my own path. My coursework and experiences reflect my passions and curiosity. 

What was your favorite part about being a student in the Brown Physics Department?

The Brown Physics Department is such a warm and close-knit group. From guest lectures to Phys DUG events, I was able to meet brilliant people and peers. 

What was the most surprising part about your research experience?

For my senior thesis, I completed a project focused on renewable energy systems. The most surprising aspect of my research was how interdisciplinary it was. As an Engineering Physics student, I enjoy experiencing the intersection of various disciplines. 

Who or what influenced you the most in your life so far?

My love of science and passion for sustainability drives me. My family also fuels my ambition. They encourage me to pursue my dreams and work towards my goals.

What is your signature phrase or quote that you live by?

Don't stop yourself from doing what you love! 

What are you planning/looking forward to doing after you graduate?

After Brown, I plan to continue my education. I hope to learn more about the renewable energy field and contribute achieving global sustainability.

What was your favorite Physics course and why?

My favorite physics course was PHYS1510: Advanced Electromagnetism. I love the topic and the professor! Thanks, Prof. Fan!

Favorite memory at Brown?

My favorite memories at Brown are all the moments when I felt supported. My friends, family, mentors, and peers have gifted me valuable encouragement and their comforting company.
