What was your favorite part about being a student at Brown?

The support of faculty and friends in all of my endeavors. Also star gazing on the roof of Barus and Holley. 

What was your favorite part about being a student in the Brown Physics Department?

The relationships I’ve made with my professors and the bonds I’ve formed with other students.

What was the most surprising part about your research experience?

My thesis topic was very individualized so I was surprised by the amount of freedom I was given in conducting my own research. 

Do you have any advice for new physics students?

Understand that you’re all in this together and you are all very smart so support each other and don’t feel the need to compete.

Who or what influenced you the most in your life so far?

My mom has influenced me the most by showing me how to work hard and have grace.

What is your signature phrase or quote that you live by?

Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.

What are you planning/looking forward to doing after you graduate?

Soaking up the sun before starting work in the fall.

What was your favorite Physics course and why?

Toss up between phys270 and phys1250. I loved the labs and basics of 270 and the comprehension of 1250.

Favorite memory at Brown?

Studying abroad in Spain.
