Can you share about the research you worked on this summer?

There is a very accurate theory that describes how particles interact, called quantum field theory. However the theory is overly cumbersome. One has to do page after page of mind numbing calculations, only to find that the final answer is incredibly simple. So the overall goal of amplitudes research is to find a new way of doing quantum field theory so that you can jump right to the answer. We are basically trying to hack quantum field theory.

What did you enjoy doing this summer while at Brown and in Providence?

I enjoyed the WaterFire where I got to learn all about the Apollo missions.
