"The Advanced Research Institute on International Migration (ARIIM) will be a 5-day event hosted at El Colegio de México in Mexico City from May 13-17, 2019. Young scholars from Central America and southern Mexico will gather to address the topic of migration in North and Central America.

Coordinators of this event are President of El Colegio de México, Professor of Demography, and PSTC alum Silvia Giorguli; Professor of Sociology (Brown University) David Lindstrom; Professor of Demography (El Colegio de México) Jéssica Nájera; and Professor of Political and Social Science (National Autonomous University of Mexico) LucianaGandini.
