Do you do population research?

June 5, 2018

The Population Studies and Training Center (PSTC) is now accepting applications for seed funds to develop collaborative population-related projects that will obtain funding from the Population Dynamics Branch (PDB) of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) or other competitive extramural sources.

PSTC faculty associates are encouraged to apply. However, all regular Brown faculty proposing a population research project as defined by the Population Dynamics Branch of the NICHD are eligible. Multi-investigator teams that bring together complementary approaches and projects that include junior and senior faculty collaboration are encouraged.

The number and amount of the awards will be determined by the number and nature of applications received. Smaller projects may receive $5,000-15,000, while larger, multi-investigator projects may receive up to $25,000.

Applications are due by June 10, and awards will be announced in July. More details available here.
