Angelina Rios-Galindo
2022 Undergraduate Fellow

Angelina Rios-Galindo is a rising sophomore originally from Orange, California, planning to concentrate in Sociology and Education Studies, as well as explore opportunities in journalism and community engagement. At Brown, she is a Bonner Community fellow matched to Youth In Action, a copy editor for the College Hill Independent (Indy), a contributor to the editorial team for WBRU (Brown’s student radio), a part of the outreach staff for the Ivy Film Festival, a member of the Resiliency and protest organizing branch of Students for Educational Equity, and the social media chair for Brown American Red Cross. Off campus, she volunteers weekly with the Petey Greene Program to tutor incarcerated or previously incarcerated folks in the Rhode Island area, as well as serves as the social media chair for the Brown chapter.
