Predoctoral Trainee in Economics

Jin is keen on the various societal instruments that impact intergenerational mobility and inequality.  He is specifically interested in the inter-temporal transmission effects of contemporary education and political systems and what roles they have played in comparative development within and across countries. He's currently working on projects intersecting with industrial organization to investigate the underpinning institutionalized incentive mechanisms so as to better understand how to shape reform to improve equity in said markets.
