Predoctoral Trainee in Economics

Lopez’s research focus is on development economics and applied microeconomics. Her interests center on issues of education, human capital, and gender. Specifically, she is interested in the way in which non-cognitive skills affect cognitive skills, performance in competition, and leadership among girls, and how that translates into labor market outcomes.
