Predoctoral Trainee in Economics

Juan's research interests include development economics, political economy, and comparative development. His current work exploits football rivalries in Latin America to investigate the evolution of interpersonal trust in a context of social division/polarization. Among other things, he is also studying the determinants of long-term orientation.
