Manager of Communications and Outreach

Amy Mackin joined the PSTC in April 2022. She handles PSTC communications and coordinates outreach projects for the PSTC Director. Amy holds a BA in Communications, an MA in American Studies, and an MFA in Creative Writing. She brings several years of diverse editorial experience to the PSTC from her previous freelance work, most recently with Mass General Brigham and MIT. Amy's research is broadly concerned with women's labor participation in the Industrial Revolution, and she enjoys writing and teaching at the intersection of women’s history and American labor studies.
