Nora Schwaller
Postdoctoral Research Associate

Nora’s interests center on how disasters affect population movement given the context of existing migration patterns, household-level climate change adaptation, risk communication strategies, and the relationship between historic inequity and vulnerability exposure. She uses mixed methods to pair advanced quantitative analyses with the rich context information provided by qualitative data. She completed her PhD at the University of North Carolina in the Department of City and Regional Planning. She is also a licensed architect.
